About the Department
Department of Management, a university teaching department (UTD) of Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU), was founded in 2020 with the vision of shaping future-ready business leaders, entrepreneurs, and management professionals equipped to navigate a dynamic and competitive corporate landscape.
Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU) is the first university in India to be named after Adi Shri Shankaracharya and blessed by all present Jagadgurus. The university was established on June 9, 2020, under the Chhattisgarh Private University (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of 2005), vide amendment Act 2020 (No. 12 of 2020), as Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU), Bhilai.

The department offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate management programmes, including BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and MBA (Master of Business Administration), designed to build strong foundations in core management disciplines such as finance, marketing, human resource management, operations, and business analytics.
The department is supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members drawn from academia and industry, who bring a blend of theoretical rigor and practical insight into the classroom.
