About the Department of Zoology

The Department of Zoology is an academic department dedicated to the study of animal life, from microscopic organisms to complex vertebrates. It aims to provide students with strong theoretical knowledge, practical laboratory skills, and research experience in biological sciences. Most departments offer B.Sc., M.Sc., and often Ph.D. programmes, with modern laboratories, museums, fieldwork opportunities, and research facilities.
