Governor Appoints Vice-Chancellor at Shri Shankaracharya Professional University
The Governor has appointed the Vice-Chancellor at the local Shri Shankaracharya Professional University in Bhilai. The order appointing Dr. Smita Selot, Professor of Computer Applications at the university, to the post of Vice-Chancellor was issued from Lok Bhavan. Dr. Selot started her career as a lecturer in 1994 at the Government Engineering College, Jabalpur. She joined the local Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology as a lecturer in 2000 and has been continuously working as a professor.
During her 32 years of service, Dr. Selot has worked on high-level research work, research guidance, and several projects. She is also serving as the Registrar at Shri Shankaracharya Professional University. Popular among students, Dr. Selot was congratulated on her appointment as Vice-Chancellor by Chancellor I.P. Mishra, Dr. Jaya Mishra (President of Shri Gangajali Education Society), along with officers, staff, and teachers.
